How to choose clothes for a child
Buying clothes for your newly born kid isn’t as easy as it seems. From diapers to dresses, you need to take several things in consideration before heading out to the stores. Moreover, shopping for kids is somewhat an ongoing process for parents, for it doesn’t take much time for them to outgrow. To make your parenting experience less daunting, here are some helpful tips on the right baby clothing. Read on to know more.
For first few months, a diaper is the most essential wearable item for infants. There are two kinds of diapers: disposable diapers and cloth diapers. While a disposable diaper can’t be reused once it’s worn, cloth diaper is washable and allows laundering and reusing. However, make sure that cloth diapers aren’t made out of scratchy or knotty fabric as they can lead to serious health hazards. If you budget is little tight, you can also make diapers at your home in no time from old swathes of clothes.
2. Infant clothing
Infants outgrow quickly; so buying infant clothing can be an unsatisfactory investment. When buying clothes for your infants, be sure to buy durable clothing that are made of washable and comfortable fabrics. Since infants are more susceptible to get stains on their clothes, choosing dark or bright colors instead of pastels is advisable. Furthermore, purchasing clothes from sales will also allow you to buy more clothing items in your budget.
3. Toddler clothing
Once your child reaches the toddler stage and begins to walk or crawl, his/her clothing needs will ultimately change. Consider clothes that are perfect for potty training such as pull-on pants. Buy clothes that aren’t messy and can be easily put on and put off like the ones with separate top and bottom, as this will help your toddler to learn the basic techniques of dressing. When buying shoes, ensure that they are comfortable and give half an inch space in front of the toes. Don’t go for clothes or footwear items that are only stylish, look for wearable-ity quotient in them too.
Remember, you can always take advice from your friends and neighbors that have experience with children on how to buy proper clothes for your children.

If you are frequent flyer, then the cumbersome formalities attached to passport and visa would not sound alien to you. Wanna see the before and after results of little Eden? Here it goes… Before: After: Before the haircut Eden’s hair were found too spiky and hence exceeding the pre-decided size of a passport size photograph. And after the hair cut, the results were astonishing. ‘The funny thing is that the touched-up photo of Eden looks nothing like her. If I was to get a passport for her tomorrow, anyone who looked at it would not be able to recognize her,’ said the surprised mommy. This not the only case, there are plenty of people who have fallen a prey to the strict guidelines issued by the Identity and Passport Service. Hollywood actors are proving to be a great example to their own kids. The celeb kids are following into their parents’ footsteps from a very early age and are featured in ads of various renowned companies. Right now it is 16-month-old Suri who has turned out to a jack pot for Cruise and Katie as she has been signed as the new face of Baby Gap. It is not just the fame that comes to parents and baby Suri because Cruise and Holmes also have been offered a lucrative modeling contract by the clothes chain for their daughter’s promotional upcoming campaign. It will not be Suris first experience to face a camera as prior to this she was on the front cover of Vanity Fair with her parents in October 2006, and was photographed by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. Cruise and Holmes wedded in November 2006 and before the marriage Holmes had already given birth to daughter Suri. Previously Cruise has been involved with Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman and he entered wedlock too with both the women but got separated. Later he went on dating Vanilla sky’s star Penelope Cruz but that also didn’t work so long and finally he settled with Katie last year. Suri is the first child for Holmes and Cruise whereas Cruise has two adopted children with his ex- wife Nicole Kidman. Image Source:Femalefirst

My mom was sincerely tired of getting new shoes every six months for my little (now as tall as a giraffe) brother. And I used to be so jealous of that. I used to get a pair every second year and he, every sixth month by maximum. I know most of you, with your tiny tots growing, must be facing the same problem. But she never found solutions and of course, not also, someone as me to help her out, like I help you. So, now, enough of my stupid self praises (you are free to contradict this statement) and back to the product. These are known as Inchworm Shoes and start at $19. They can be actually expanded as your child grows. The iFit technology fitted in these allows the expansion of the size of the shoe and that too with a simple press of a button. Now, you know they will last really longer. These shoes increase in half size increments and you no longer need to make those visits to stores for at least sometime.
